Staff at a Royal Mail sorting office have voted to strike for a fourth time.
Workers at the Stanmore Royal Mail sorting office will take industrial action on Saturday over accusations of unfair workloads, bullying and harassment from senior managers.
This strike will be the fourth time members of the Communication Workers’ Union (CWU) have taken industrial action in the past month.
Royal Mail spokesperson Sally Hopkins said: “Royal Mail is disappointed that the CWU is planning to take further industrial at Stanmore delivery office on Saturday.
“We urge the CWU not to call our people out on strike action, which can only hurt our customers and damage our business and our drive to build a strong and sustainable future for Royal Mail.
“We will do everything we can to minimise the impact of any strike action on our customers.
“Royal Mail is still talking with the CWU and is fully committed to the process of trying to resolve concerns of postal workers based in Stanmore by continuing to follow the national jointly agreed framework with the CWU.”
