A road has been blocked due to a fallen tree caused by strong winds.
Traffic has been building up at London Road, near Harrow-on-the-Hill, today (April 15) following a fallen tree around Roxeth Hill.
A picture taken at 3.30pm shows a tree on the ground this afternoon, and hours later the road is still affected.
The road is partially blocked with delays both ways and a detour operation is in place, with the H17 bus rerouted.
There have been multiple reports across different parts of London of trees collapsing due to the weather today, amid a yellow warning which is in place until 10pm.
According to the Met Office, the strong winds may cause some disruptions including potential "delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport", with the agency adding that "some short term loss of power and other services is possible".
