A “BADLY RUN” lap dancing club in Wembley has been stripped of its entertainment licence after a series of breaches and problems with boozy customers.
Blue Eyes, in South Way, was reported to Brent Council licensing committee by Brent Police, who asked for the club's licence to be reviewed.
Officers reported a series of violent and anti-social incidents on match days at nearby Wembley Stadium, and claimed the club bosses had repeatedly breached the terms of its late licence.
The panel of councillors agreed, and stripped the club of its right to open until 5am, it now having to close at 11pm each night.
Blue Eyes has also been banned from having lap dancing after the terms of its licence were changed.
PC Nicola McDonald, who launched the review, said: "I thank the councillors for taking decisive action on this badly run premises.
“This should send a strong message to other licensed premises in the area that we will not tolerate such breaches. It is not just breaking the law it causes harm and distress."
