A man from Wembley who was jailed after being found guilty of a string of rapes has had his conviction overturned.
Paul Robert Denton, 47, of Barnhill Road, Wembley, was accused of raping a 32-year-old woman on seven consecutive days in October 2007. He was found guilty after a trial at Inner London Crown court.
The Court of Appeal ruled the convictions were “unsafe” as the trial judge had made omissions to the jury, and the convictions were overturned by three senior judges.
