Nestled in the leafy suburbs of Southwest London, lays the greatest botanical gardens on this planet and in the coldest months of the year, it lights up attracting tourists and locals alike.
Through the usually quiet gardens, illuminations and song light up the sky. There is suitable food and drink littered around the course providing a family friendly feel about it. The COVID protocols in place are right with a safe but normal feel about the experience.
The actual path takes you through lights of all colours with tunnels and flame shows being the best for many. The bridge going across the central lake in the Gardens is illuminated with a hive of colour synced perfectly with the music. There is also a tunnel of bright white lights which gives the impression of a route to heaven and provides a perfect picture opportunity.
The lights show has also been popular with celebrities this year with footballer Mason Mount attending with his family.
It is easily accessible with bus routes, tube routes and parking all very nearby. If you were unlucky to miss it this year, tickets are already on sale for next year due to the popularity.
Christmas at Kew will never disappoint and will leave a warm glow in your hearts.
