After their successful Christmas debut visit, US saxophonist and bandleader Frank Griffith is set to come to The Junction, with a group of north west London’s finest jazz musicians, bringing jazz back to the heart of Harrow.
Playing with Frank Griffith for Jazz Junction will be legendary bassist and jazz educator Gary Crosby OBE (whose track record includes Jazz Jamaica, Nu Troop, Tomorrow's Warriors), pianist Alex Webb (Alexander Stewart, China Moses) and drummer Andy Chapman (Alexander Stewart, Rhythmica, Zara MacFarlane). Expect a swinging combination of famous standards, jazz classics and one or two surprises.
Jazz Junction will be at The Junction, Gayton Road, Harrow, on Saturday, March 2 from 9pm. Details: 020 8426 0947, www.thejunctionharrow.co.uk
