For most of us, a zombie takeover is the stuff of nightmares, not dreams, but not so for Harrow resident Sara Donegan.
Sara is one of the contestants on the new BBC Three gameshow I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse, which begins on Sunday.
It’s a reality gameshow set six months into a zombie outbreak and sees ten ‘survivors’ from across the UK head to Monroe Shopping Village, a rescue point were the army were once based but had to abandon when it was overrun by zombies.
They will have to work together to make this their base – securing shelter, safety and essential supplies for the whole group. The army is able to monitor them via satellite and radio and set missions essential for their survival.
Anyone still alive in seven days will be rescued by army helicopter and taken to one of the global tropical quarantine areas.
The survivors just need to avoid the zombies, but they're everywhere, highly infectious and the slightest touch will result in death.
Has Sara got what it takes to survive? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
- I Survived A Zombie Apocalypse begins on BBC Three on Sunday, February 15 at 10pm.
