He appeared in the Beck Theatre’s Cinderella pantomime last year. Now, X Factor winner Joe McElderry is set to return to Hayes as part of his Set Your Soul Alive Tour.
Having risen to fame after winning the sixth series of ITV show The X Factor in 2009, Joe’s first single The Climb reached number one in the UK and Irish singles chart and was soon followed by the release of his debut album Wide Awake.
In 2011 he returned to our television screens, where he was the crowned winner of the second series of ITV show Pop Star to Opera Star, receiving 80 per cent of the voting throughout the series.
And viewer’s of Channel 4’s The Jump will remember seeing Joe triumph on the slopes back in February.
But for one night only he’ll be back at the Beck doing what he does best, performing an array of songs from his repertoire, covering genres including rock, pop and classical.
Joe McElderry is at The Beck Theatre, Grange Road, Hayes, on Thursday, June 26. Details: becktheatre.org.uk, 020 8561 8371.
