In Loving Memory of Dr. Shashi Makhija 21st September 1936 - 4th May 2024 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved and vivacious mother, Shashi Makhija, who peacefully left us at our home in Bedford on Sat 4th May 2024, surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, and her brother. Her tale of brilliance, determination, romance, and resilience is a story we'll cherish. She was a woman who cared passionately, defying conventions whilst deeply empathetic. These traits, coupled with her exceptional intellect, made her an outstanding GP who set up the state of the art Alperton Medical Centre.
