A Kenton hospital has opened a new therapy suite for people with mental illnesses.
Cygnet Lodge Westlands, in Kenton Road, has just completed the room which has computers and will be used to provide therapies including music and drama therapy.
The new suite also has an outdoor deck.
Cygnet Lodge Westlands is a rehabilitation unit that helps women with mental illnesses and eating disorders to prepare for returning to community living.
It is often used as a half way house between being in hospital and returning home.
Gemma Body, unit manager at Cygnet Lodge Westlands, said: “Cygnet Health Care knows that it is important for our service users to have comfortable surroundings in order to have the best possible experience on their journey to recovery.
“That is why we are so pleased with the new therapy suite – it really is an ideal space for our therapies.”
