The College of North West London officially opened its new Wembley Park campus with a visit from a celebrity chef.
Following a £2.8 million makeover the new campus, in Wembley Park Drive, was opened last Wednesday by I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here star Gino D’Acampo.
The makeover included the installation of new teaching kitchens.
Mr D’Acampo was given a tour of the kitchens and was provided with a lunch prepared by the students.
Mr D’Acampo said: “Today’s been great. So many people turned up and it was good to see what the College has to offer.
“We should have more colleges like this. It gives the people in the community the opportunity to learn new skills so they can find good jobs.
“I’ve been very impressed with the training kitchens at the College.
“When I trained as a chef in Napoli we didn’t have half of the equipment that they have here. These students are very lucky.”
