Vandals have struck in Harrow Town Centre destroying festive lights and a tree.
The snowdrop light garden in St Ann’s Road has been damaged with a statue being pulled over and a tree being snapped.
The lights were switched on, on Friday evening to mark the start of the festive season.
They were meant to help attract shoppers to the town centre to give trade a boost.
Greenhill Ward Councillor Sue Anderson said: “It is a shame when people behave this way.
“Street trees and decorative lights bring pleasure to residents and visitors alike.
“Attracting visitors to the town centre is really important to help local retailers and maintain jobs.”
