A teenager from Stanmore has been charged with robbery following an armed smash-and-grab raid in Edgware on Friday.
The 16-year-old, along with a 17-year-old from Colindale, was charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
The pair were also charged with possession of an imitation firearm whilst committing a schedule one offence, affray, and taking and driving away.
The charges come after an armed raid at Vinson Jewellers in Station Road at 11.30am on Friday.
They are due to appear in custody at Wealdstone Youth Court, sitting at Brent Magistrates’ Court, later today.
