The Brent Pensioners Forum celebrated its 25th anniversary with a lunch party on Friday.
More than 80 members of the forum attended the party which took place at Holiday Inn, Wembley.
The event was also attended by the Mayor of Brent, Sarah Teather MP, Barry Gardiner MP and the leaders of the Labour and Liberal Democrat groups at Brent Borough Council.
Vi Steele, the current chair of the Forum who organised the event, said: “I am pleased that all our guests had a great time and pledged their continued support for the work of the Forum.
“Brent Pensioners Forum looks forward to the future and will continue to work with our partners to continue to improve the quality of life for older people in Brent”.
The group, which has 150 members, aims to bring older people together and to represent, and fight for, their needs and rights.
