A charity has submitted a proposal to transform a former library into a school for people with learning difficulties.
The We Care Foundation, which supports children with special educational needs, has submitted a proposal to Brent Borough Council to turn the old Barham Park Library building into a school.
The secondary special school would be called Eden Manor and it would be for students with autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia.
The building was run as a library until it was closed by the council last October.
The Friends of Barham Park Library group is also keen to take over the building in the hope it could reopen it as a community library.
