A Harrow band has raised £400 for St Luke’s Hospice by holding a fundraising performance.
On Sunday, to mark Mitzvah Day, The Silvertones played at Harrow Museum in Pinner View.
During the performance a collection box was passed round and the money raised will all go to the Kenton hospice.
The band, which is made up of Barbara Golstein, Terry Lomas, Philip Woolfson, Ashley Silver and Alan Breslaw, played some of their favourite 1960s numbers.
Drummer, Ashley Silver, said: “The band was delighted to be able to support St Lukes Hospice, Kenton Grange by playing at Harrow Museum on Sunday.
“There was a big crowd and a great atmosphere, and the band is very grateful for all donations made to St Luke’s by all those who attended."
