A colourful Diwali celebration was held at Harrow Civic Centre on Saturday.
The event, which was held at the Station Road centre, was organised by the Harrow Asian Multicultural Association.
Guests were treated to food and drink, dance performances and speeches.
Dancers included Harrow Tamil Association, Harrow Bengalee Association and the Siddhashram Group.
There were speeches by Jagdish Rajput, president of the Harrow Asian Multicultural Association, Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Nizam Ismail and London Assembly Member, Navin Shah.
Councillor Husain Akhtar, who attended the event, said: “Such culturally rich programmes are valuable for the community cohesion – I thoroughly enjoyed this colourful event.”
