A hairdresser from Pinner is celebrating after being named Newcomer of the Year.
Kieran Tudor, who works at D&J Ambrose, in Bridge Street, won the title at the British Hairdressing Awards in Park Lane on Monday evening.
The hairdresser had to submit four photos of his work when he entered the competition.
From these submissions a panel of judges including included members of the press and hairdressers chose six finalists.
These six, who included Mr Tudor, then had to submit a further four photos from which the panel chose their winner.
The event was hosted by comedian and writer David Walliams and attended by 1,700 guests.
Mr Tudor said: “I was so pleased to win the title of Newcomer of the Year, it means so much to not only myself but everyone connected with D&J Ambrose.
“This award is also a great tribute to the fantastic hairdressing talent and creativity within Pinner.
“This has been a fantastic year for the entire team at D&J Ambrose and I would like to dedicate this award to them as without their amazing help and support it would not have been possible.”
