Protestors marking the International Day of Disabled People took the opportunity to hit out at Government cuts yesterday.
The Harrow Association of Disabled People invited the public to join them on its march, saying disabled people are being hit hardest by Government cuts to benefits and services.
Protestors marched from Harrow Primary Care Trust, in Lowlands Road to Harrow Council’s Department for Work and Pensions and then to the Civic Centre in Station Road.
The International Day of Disabled People, organised by the United Nations, is held on December 3 every year to encourage people to think about, and address, the issues that face people with disabilities.
