Mortality rates at the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust are among the lowest in the country, according to new figures.
The Dr Foster Hospital Guide 2012 has just been published and showed the trust as being sixth out of 145 in terms of mortality rates.
David McVittie, chief executive of the trust, which manages Northwick Park, St Mark’s and Central Middlesex hospitals, said: “We are delighted that we have maintained our excellent record on mortality rates for the sixth year running and that we are among the top four per cent of trusts in the country.
“Mortality rates are an important indicator of the quality of care patients receive and this is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff.”
