Harrow West MP Gareth Thomas learned how a Harrow charity is helping people with learning disabilities into work yesterday.
Mr Thomas visited Choices 4 All, which works with people with disabilities to train them for work in catering and hospitality as well as with literacy and numeracy skills.
Mr Thomas had lunch with the learners and staff at the charity’s Pinner Road centre, and certainly sounded as if he appreciated the results of the catering training.
Following his visit, the MP tweeted: “Visited one of Harrow’s best charities; for people with learning difficulties; Choices 4 All. Lovely lunch too!”
