A church in Harrow Weald has been transformed into a forest of Christmas trees.

All Saints’ Church, in Uxbridge Road, has been decorated with more than 40 trees as part of the church’s Christmas tree festival.

Each tree has been decorated by a different local school, business or community group.

Vicar the Rev James Mercer said: ‘We are always looking for creative ways to put Harrow Weald and its community on the map.

“We look forward to welcoming people to enjoy this magical spectacle of a church full of individually decorated trees, celebrating the contribution all sorts of groups and business contribute to the community.”

The festival will run until Tuesday and will be open from 4pm until 8pm on weekdays and from and 12pm until 5pm today.

Mulled wine and mince pies are being served throughout the festival.
