Amazing Grace and Adele’s Someone Like You were among songs performed by Harrow Weald students at a nursing home last night.
Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 choir members from Salvatorian College in High Road performed a mixture of pop, classical and traditional music from around the world to residents at Rowanweald Nursing Home in Weald Lane.
In a statement the school said: “Salvatorian College has a long tradition of community involvement and was delighted, once again, to showcase the talents of the boys to such a receptive audience.
“The residents showed their appreciation for these young entertainers, and the young entertainers showed their appreciation for the contribution made over the years by these valued members of their local community.”
Next in the Salvatorian College Christmas itinerary is the annual distribution of Christmas hampers to members of St Joseph’s Parish.
The hampers are made up of food items collected by the students, parents and staff at the school.
