A rise in the number of new companies and a fall in the number of closures bodes well for Stanmore, figures suggest
The latest Duport Business Confidence Report shows that the number of businesses in Stanmore rose in the third quarter of 2012, with a a nine per cent increase in the number of company formations between July and September 2012.
There was also a slight fall in the number of company closures, meaning there was an overall rise in net company growth.
Duport.co.uk managing director Peter Valaitis said: “It is great to see a growing number of people in Stanmore are forming their own companies.
“With a rising number of company formations and a falling number of company closures, Stanmore is becoming a great place for business start ups to locate.”
Duport is a company formation agency that compiles business confidence reports using data from Companies House and the Office for National Statistics.
