The Harrow man who wielded a knife outside Buckingham Palace on Sunday has been remanded in custody while a psychiatric report is put together.
Talhat Rehman, 54, of Lindsay Drive, was arrested after being Tasered while holding a kitchen knife to his throat outside the palace.
On Monday he was charged with two counts of possessing a bladed weapon in public and one count of affray.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday, and on Monday, and has now been remanded in custody until February 12 when he will appear again for a psychiatric report.
