A music group that caters for young people across Harrow will have funding gradually withdrawn rather than cut in one go.
Harrow Young Musicians will receive £50,000 of funding from Harrow Borough Council split over two years, with the organisation receiving £30,000 in 2013, followed by £20,000 in 2014.
The group previously received £58,000 per year from the council, which announced in January it could no longer support the current funding arrangements.
The group hopes to become self-sufficient after the two year funding period is finished.
