Voters will be heading to the polls to elect a new councillor in West Harrow next week.
The by-election on February 21 was caused by the resignation Cllr Brian Gate, the former portfolio holder for children, schools and families, after he was cautioned for possession of indecent images of children.
Conservative, Julia Merison, is hoping to win the previously held Labour seat for her party, while Christine Robson is the replacement Labour candidate hoping to defend the seat.
West Harrow ward’s other two councillors, Cllr Kairul Kareema Marikar and Cllr William Stoodley, are also both Labour.
Green Party candidate Rowan Langley, and Liberal Democrat Pash Nandhra will also be standing in the election.
Jeremy Zeid will be standing for the UK Independence Party and Herbert Crossman is the only independent candidate who will be running.
