Harrow West MP, Gareth Thomas, has challenged the Prime Minister on why 4,000 London police officers have been axed - including 100 in Harrow.
During Prime Minister's questions in the House of Commons last week, Mr Thomas accused David Cameron of breaking his promise to protect front line policing.
Mr Cameron responded by saying that while there had been a spending reduction on the police, crime was down and the number of visible police officers was up.
The Prime Minister added that the crime was down by ten per cent in Harrow, which is more than whole of the Metropolitan Police area.
