Little Learners Pre-School is set for expansion with the acquisition of a new site in Kenton.
Owners Pulkit Shah and his wife Nira have purchased a former doctor's surgery in Kenton and are refurbishing the premises into a 35-place nursery that will initially provide up to 41 new childcare places.
They are planning a second phase of development, which will include extending the premises to provide an additional 30 places.
The new nursery will be operating under the newly established name KidsUniverse.
Mrs Shah established the company in 2005 after leaving her job as a management accountant to follow her passion for working in nurseries.
She has three existing nurseries in Edgware, Harrow and North Harrow and intends on taking a hands-on approach to running this new nursery.
As well as following the Early Years Foundation Stage National Curriculum, children also benefit from yoga and music and movement classes, as well as Spanish and IT classes.
Mrs Shah said: “There is a strong demand for good quality childcare in North London and I am excited to be able to have the opportunity to provide good quality childcare for so many local children.”
