A dance school in Harrow which puts on shows to raise money for charity is looking for volunteers to help with its latest production.
The Sapnay School of Dance, which was a semi finalist on Sky 1’s Got to Dance and is a Guinness world record holder for the largest Bollywood dance class, needs people to work with children aged three and up.
On March 23 young pupils will perform at the Wycombe Swan Theatre in High Wycombe to raise money for the Big Hug Foundation (BHF), which provides shelter and education for underprivileged children in India.
Volunteers do not need any dancing experience as they will help organise the children during rehearsals and chaperone them at breaks.
The dance school has performed to raise money for charities such as the British Red Cross and last December raised £3,000 for the BHF.
Ash Oberoi, the school’s artistic director, said: “It is my job as a human to contribute to the community and I want people to help me with that.
“I hope God gives me the strength to carry on and do this work.”
