BBC Radio 3 will be broadcasting a live performance from a parish church in Edgware next month.
The station’s month of Baroque music and culture continues with chamber music by Handel, performed live at St Lawrence's chaurch, Little Stanmore in Whitchurch Lane, by members of the Academy of Ancient Music.
St Lawrence's is England's only Continental baroque parish church which people from all over the world come to visit.
Handel was the organist and composer in residence there from 1717 to 1718.
The baroque interior was painted by the same painters as those who had painted at Versailles and went on to paint at Blenheim Palace and Chatsworth.
The broadcast will be made on Thursday March 7 between 1pm and 2pm.
