Firefighters tackled fires at a barn and a flat last night.
Crews were called shortly after 9pm to reports of a fire in Woodhall Road, Pinner, where a large amount of hay was alight.
Four fire engines from Harrow, Stanmore, and Northolt attended the scene and no one was hurt.
Some crews stayed with the fire overnight to supervise controlled burning as fires of this kind and smoulder for a long time and be very difficult to fully extinguish.
The fire was finally completely out by 8.20am this morning. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Crews also had to save a person from a flat fire in Northolt Road, South Harrow, last night at 6.46pm.
The person had to be treated by the ambulance service for smoke inhalation and it is believed the fire was caused by cooking. The fire was under control by 7.07pm
