Schools from across the borough have signed up for mental health charity’s MasterMind competition.
So far five schools have signed up to the MasterMind in Harrow competition run by charity Mind in Harrow, in partnership with the Harrow Times.
As part of the competition each school will enter three teams to face quick fire ‘University Challenge’ quiz.
In order to take part each team will have to raise £400 for the charity for the day of competition which will take place at Harrow School February next year.
Not only will there be prizes for the overall winners of the competition but there will also be awards for best and most innovative fundraising ideas.
The charity helps more than 5,000 in the borough with mental health problems and run Harrow’s only mental health helpline.
Mind in Harrow are still looking for one more secondary school to take part in the competition and any school interested in their pupils pitting their wits against the rest of Harrow can contact Marilyn Norman on 0208 426 0929.
