Barnet Football Club has appealed over a council decision to refuse planning permission for work at its stadium the Hive.
The action comes after Harrow Borough Council’s planning committee rejected the club’s proposals for the site in Camrose Avenue, Edgware in September.
Members rejected the application on the basis that the floodlights and the West Stand fell outside specifications agreed by the council.
The council then issued Barnet with a planning enforcement notice, which means the club would have six months to demolish the stand and three months to remove the lights.
Notification of the appeal will be sent to the Planning Inspectorate.
