Secondary school pupils raised more than £1,600 for charity by selling cakes and organising a non-uniform day.
Amogh Deshpande, Anna Fallon and Kunaal Shah from Park High School Sixth Form in Stanmore raised the huge amount for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The three pupils organised the sale, selling home baked goods made by teachers to their peers and raising £215.54.
Then two days later they braved the rain and collected a pound from each pupil for the school’s non-uniform day to take the total amount raised to £1646.54.
Fundraising manager from Macmillan Cancer Support Carole Heffernan said: "Thank you To Amogh, Anna and Kunaal and everyone who contributed to raising this fantastic amount.
“Every day, two or more people hear the words 'you have cancer' in Harrow. This will go a long way in providing financial, emotional and practical help.”
