A museum trust aiming to raise thousands to build a new home for an artist’s work are offering rewards to new patrons.
The West House and Heath Robinson Trust launched its campaign last month for the new Heath Robinson Museum to be built in Pinner.
William Heath Robinson was a cartoonist and illustrator best known for his elaborate but logical contraptions.
The trust has launched a page on crowdfunding website Kickstarter offering donors rewards from giving money from £6 to £5000.
In order to secure a £1.13million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the museum and its supporters need to raise £430,000.
Some could have the privilege of owning an original, signed drawing by Heath Robinson, framed and glazed, for their donation, as well as other items.
The trust has until Tuesday, December 3 to raise the money in order to secure the grant from Heritage Lottery Fund.
