Hundreds of people celebrated a traditional Hindu ceremony with a procession through woodland.
Members of the Shree Swaminarayan Temple, in Wood Lane, Stanmore, joined together to celebrate the wedding between the Hindu gods Tulsi and Lord Vishnu.
On Sunday a statue of Lord Vishnu was placed on a decorated palanquin and then carried through woodland around the temple.
Those taking part in the ceremony danced and sang traditional hymns during the procession.
Haribhai Halai, who helped organise the celebrations, said: “This has been one of the most divine and extravagant wedding ceremonies of the year.
“Many people get married but to be part of the Lord wedding is truly a unique experience.”
