An underground station was evacuated and closed this morning due to a service suspension on the line.
Harrow-on-the-Hill station, on the Metropolitan line had to be evacuated by Transport for London staff to deal with overcrowding on the platforms.
The line was suspended between Wembley Park and Aldgate with severe delays on the rest of the line due to emergency engineering work at Baker Street.
The station has now opened and the service has resumed on the rest of the line but with severe delays.
TfL has announced tickets will be accepted on local buses, Chiltern Railways and First Capital Connect as they carry out the work.
