Hundreds of excited families and children filled the high street in Pinner for the annual Christmas lights switch-on on Saturday.
Live music, street entertainers and stalls filled the road, which was closed off to traffic for the popular showcase.
The festive atmosphere was boosted by the appearance of Santa Claus and shops decorating their window displays.
The fair dates back 700 years and is the biggest festive event in the area.
