Council tax rates for the coming year are due to be discussed by councillors at a meeting this week.
Harrow Borough Council’s cabinet will discuss the proposals as part of the authority’s budget for the 2014/2015 council year at a meeting on Thursday December 12.
Members will discuss the calculation of council tax for the 12 months from April, which the Conservative administration announced last week will be frozen.
Under the leader of the council Cllr Susan Hall, the Tory group has made a total of 66 amendments to the proposed budget for next year.
This includes plans to reduce the authority’s capital debt of a quarter of a billion pounds by £20million over the next four years.
