Services offering adults the chance to learn new skills have been rated as 'good' by Ofsted.
Harrow Borough Council’s adult and family learning services were given the watchdog's second highest rating following an inspection earlier this year.
In a report published last week, inspectors rated the service 'good' in all areas including the quality of teaching, learning and for its partnership with other organisations.
The authority's cabinet member for community and culture Cllr Manji Kara said: “We are delighted that Ofsted recognises the excellent work being done for adult learners.
“This latest inspection result is a validation that we are continuing to provide the best support for students, thanks to the hard work and commitment of the Harrow team and our partners across the voluntary and statutory sectors.”
Cllr Kara also added the council will use recommendations from Ofsted and work towards achieving the top 'outstanding status for its services.
