Charges against a Hindu priest have been dropped after the prosecution offered no evidence.
Gurudev Rajesh Parmar, a well-known founder of Hindu temple the Siddhashram Shakti Centre, in Palmerston Road, Wealdstone, had charges against him dropped at a hearing at Harrow Crown Court last week.
The 42-year-old, of Headstone Drive, was accused one count of assault causing actual bodily harm, one of conspiring to commit sexual offences and one of perverting the cause of justice.
All charges, which Mr Parmar denied, were dropped after the prosecution failed to offer any evidence. A trial which was due to take place next year will not go ahead.
