People interested in becoming councillors and getting involved with local government are being invited to an information evening.

Harrow Borough Council has announced the date of the event for prospective councillors to find out more about members' roles in the community.

The meeting comes before the local elections on May 22 in which seats for the council will be up for election.

Anyone who is interested in becoming a councillor is invited to the evening at Harrow Civic Centre in Station Road on Thursday January 30 from 6pm.
