Pupils will be brushing up on their general knowledge this week before a prestigious quiz to find the smartest school in the borough.
Eighteen teams from six schools will battle it out in the MasterMind in Harrow quiz competition on Thursday, February 27.
The contest has been organised by mental health charity Mind in Harrow in partnership with the Harrow Times.
For the past five months each team has been given the fundraising challenge of collecting £400 for the charity as way entry into the competition.
School sleepovers, pupil vs teacher quizzes and fancy dress days are just some of the ways pupils have raised the money which has now been collected.
The six schools taking part are Hatch End High School, Bentley Wood High School, Harrow School, Sacred Heart, John Lyon School and North London Collegiate School.
On Thursday this week at Harrow School the teams will take part in the grand quiz and the Harrow Times will be there to find out who are the borough’s MasterMinds.
There will also be prizes for the school which has raised the most money for the charity and for the most inventive fundraising scheme.
