Hundreds of people have signed up for a charity walk to raise money for a hospital appeal.
More than 250 people have pledged to take part in the 12th annual Buttercup Walk to raise money for The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) Charity Redevelopment Appeal.
The walk will take place on Sunday June 8 and the day will feature an appearance from Olympic bronze medal winning gymnast Max Whitlock, family activities and live music.
Money raised will go towards the appeal which aims to raise £15 million to pay for additional facilities and equipment for the hospital which is currently undergoing £90million redevelopment.
Since the launch of the walk in 2003 the walk has raised nearly £350,000 for the RNOH Charity to help improve facilities and patient care at the hospital.
Rosie Stolarski, director of fundraising and development at the RNOH Charity, said: “Every year it’s wonderful to see just how many people show up for this fantastic event.
“It really is a testament to our patients that the Buttercup Walk always gets such a great turnout. I really hope people can come along to support what will be a great, family friendly day out.”
There is still space for those interested in taking part in the walk to sign up for free and people can do so by clicking here.
