A charity that helps people who have suffered spinal injuries will host a photography exhibition this week.
The collection of pictures entitled The Reluctant Heroes will be displayed at the Aspire centre, in Wood Lane, Stanmore, on Friday to mark Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day.
The photographs have been taken by people who have suffered spinal injuries to document their experiences of physical activity, depicting how it is still possible to live an active life.
The exhibition will be open to the public at the centre from 2pm to 4pm.
