Children and teenagers with disabilities are being invited to try out new activities at a sports centre open day.
Harrow Leisure Centre will host the free activity day for children and teenagers from five to 18-years-old on Sunday May 18, from 11am to 4pm.
Everyone Active, which runs Harrow's leisure services, has teamed up with charity Action for Children to deliver the open day.
Activites on offer include rock climbing, polybat, table tennis, boccia and face painting. Coaches from local clubs will be on hand for sessions in football, indoor athletics and cricket.
Manager Phil Edwards said: "We are looking forward to welcoming both members and non-members to the centre.
"Parents, carers, siblings and grandparents are of course invited to join in the fun.
"We aim to offer accessible sessions for all community groups and so we are delighted to be working with children's charity Action for Children to increase participation levels among customers with disabilities going forward."
Those interested in taking part in the day can contact Heather Brown on 020 72213290 or heather.brown@actionforchildren.org.uk
