A man has been charged following an attack which left another man with severe facial injuries.
Mohamed Shafi, 57, of Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, was charged yesterday by police with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Harrow Crown Court on a date in June.
Police were called to Raja Salon in Village Way East, Harrow, on Monday at 1.45 to reports of an attack.
A 50-year-old man was found at the scene with serious facial injuries that are believed to have been inflicted with a knife.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance as a priority in a critical condition. The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.
