Bob Blackman MP has again failed to represent the interests of the residents of Harrow by not supporting the HS2 Bill.
Independent reports have clearly shown that the Harrow and Wealdstone to Euston route would be able to increase its frequency due to more people using HS2 than the present West Coast line.
Also, the current southern service to West Croydon may also benefit from more trains per hour.
Many residents of Harrow who use the Euston service would be able tell Mr Blackman about the overcrowding they face each morning and evening whilst ticket costs rise year on year.
HS2 will free capacity on this line and therefore give these commuters more seats to sit on.
Let us hope Mr Blackman will think again and stand up for the commuters of Harrow.
