An international bulb importer has won a gold medal at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show.
Jacques Amand, the Stanmore-based import company, won its 28th gold medal for its display in the main floral marquee at the show this week.
The display of different bulb flowers was one of more than 40 other displays to have won gold in the great pavilion awards.
Nesta Jolliffe, who helped design the garden, said: "It's great to have been recognised again for all the hard work.
"It was a huge team effort and it wouldn't have been possible if they had not been there.
"Chelsea is just one of the shows we display at but it is defiantly the most prestigious and it means a lot to get a gold medal.
"It's not just about taking part in the competition side but it is also a chance to showcase all the bulbs we sell at the nursery and get your name out there."
